To enter Australia for up to 3 months you require an ETA.

Visit Australia as often as you wish in a 12-month period. Stay up to 3 months each time you enter Australia.

There is a service charge of AUD20 to use the Australian ETA app. There is no other charge payable for an ETA.

Processing Time

In most cases you will be notified of the result of your ETA application immediately. Your application may take longer if you do not complete the application process correctly or if further information is required. We recommend that you apply well ahead of when you want to travel.

We highly recommend booking airbnb or other short term rental options for your stay.

Our wedding is in Fortitude Valley. You will find ample options there, but for a quieter option we would recommend other surrounding suburbs- Newstead, New Farm, Teneriffe, Bowen Hills.

It will be "Winter" in Australia. Brisbane's weather in winter is generally dry and mild with mean temperatures between 11 - 21°C (51.8 - 69.8°F).

A light jacket or jumper (sweater) is good for evenings and early mornings.

While in the afternoon you could wear shorts.

On warmer days the beach is tolerable, but you won't find many Aussies swimming.

Weather varies drastically state by state, if you plan on traveling you could be much colder or warmer!

Many airbnbs have laundry facilities. There is also a great laundromat across from Courtney & Ben's apartment. So no need to overpack!

A North American to Australian plug adapter is a must!

A good pair of shoes-Brisbane is quite walkable in the right suburbs! And there is plenty to see and explore.

There is great shopping around Brisbane if you forget something!
